Roles and ranks: who sees what

• The role is the frame: Member (cleaning staff), Site manager, Admin (office), Owner.
• The rank is the fine-tuning within that frame: eight ready-made ranks (Helper, Cleaner, Specialist, Foreman, Site manager, Area manager, Office, Owner), each made of individual permissions you tick. You may rename them, rebuild them and create your own.
• Exceptions per person: give or take away a single permission without changing the rank.

What a missing permission does

The app does not show the page, not even through a typed address, and the database does not hand out the data in the first place. Admins and owners may do everything. Anyone else without a rank gets the base set: their own assignments, clocking in, requesting absence, reporting a problem, the sites of their own shifts and ticking checklists.

How it works

• Under Team (/mitarbeiter) you invite someone and choose role and rank right away.
• You change the rank later in the person's row, the permissions of the ranks under Team → Set permissions.
• If someone leaves the company: Block instead of delete. Access is closed immediately, hours and assignments stay for payroll.
